Norma Bidwell

Norma Jane Chambers Killam Bidwell of Arlington has passed peacefully on to our Lord on March 29, 2014. She was born on July 2, 1931 to Minnie Jane Vowell and Carol Davis Chambers in Frederick, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 26 years Jimmy Clarkson Killam, son Jimmie Jerel Killam and daughter-in-law Henrietta Gayle Holland Killam, husband of 28 years Gilbert Oren Bidwell, son-in-law William James Stephens, and granddaughter Michelle Ann Killam.

She was a loving person, wife, and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. She was the true matriarch of the family and cared for her parents, husbands, mother-in-law and brother-in-law before their deaths. She taught us all that, “There is hope!”

She is survived by her son Michael Duane Killam of Fort Worth; daughter Sara Jane Killam Stephens of Westminster; son and daughter-in-law Steven Wayne Killam and Martha Ann Carpenter Killam of San Angelo, as well as, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren spread across Texas and Arkansas.

Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014 from 6-8pm and funeral services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 am at Moore Funeral Home Arlington Texas with interment immediately following at Parker Memorial Cemetery in Grapevine, TX.
