Norma was born in Comanche, Oklahoma on August 7, 1936 to G.P. Beatty and Helen Flay Beatty. During her free time, she enjoyed bird watching and spending time at the lake with her family. She also loved dancing and listening to music.
Her husband John Cecil Sanford, Jr. and her sister Janet Sue Beatty Compton precede her in death.
Norma is survived by her daughter Tammy Sanford, son Cecil Sanford, brother Eldon Ray Beatty and grandchildren Chad Michael Sanford and Christin Michelle Schrimpf, and many other family members and friends.
Her memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012 with a reception following the committal service.
