Norman Earl Norrod

He was born on January 15, 1938, in Hico, TX, to Earl Norrod and Jessie Nix. Pete was a veteran of the United States Army, an engineer for TxDOT, and a charitable man who always volunteered his time and money to various organizations.

Pete enjoyed woodworking, doing different kinds of puzzles, and reading. He was devoted to reading his Bible every night.

Pete is survived by his wife, Sandra Norrod of Arlington, TX; son, Jeff Norrod of Grand Prairie, TX; daughter, Kerri Norrod of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Alex and Daniele Norrod of Grand Prairie, TX; brother-in-law, Michael Page of Fort Worth, TX; sister-in-law, Galina Page of Fort Worth, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Earl Norrod, and his three older siblings, Harold Norrod, Bud Norrod, and Valma Wade.

The visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on May 14, 2026, at the funeral home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on May 14, 2026, at Moore Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mission Arlington.
