Patricia Ann Kinnaird was born December 12, 1943 in Gainesville, Florida. Trish, as her friends and loved ones called her, was a highly respected Speech, Drama and English Teacher for the Arlington and surrounding independent school districts. Trish’s incredible creativity was present in all she did, from directing high school and jr. high school plays, building drama departments for school districts, painting, sewing and even after retirement, making flower arrangements for her church. Trish was a devoted member of First Baptist Church and was tireless in her contributions to Mission Arlington and other non profit organizations. Once she retired from teaching, her passions were her grandchildren, service work with her church and lively luncheons with her friends. Trish had serious health problems, but you would never know it by how deeply she gave to others. Her strength, her altruistic nature and her ever present wit and sense of humor will be missed deeply by her family and friends. Trish is survived by her siblings, Rick and Jan Burley, Hal and Sandie Schmidt, her children, Kimberly Baker, David and Lara Baker, K A Brandon, her step children, Norma and Bob Whitis, Butch Ray Kinnaird, Regina and Jonathan Radar and her grandchildren, Hailey, Tara, Grayson, Mason.
There will be a celebration, Friday, August 23rd, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX. 76012. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning for family and close friends. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be directed to Mission Arlington in Trish’s memory www.missionarlington.org.
