Patricia Flo Routen

At 11:35 pm on April 30, 2026, at 90 years old she left this earthly world to enter her permanent heavenly home, into the very presence of her God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who called her by grace many years ago to salvation through the sacrifice of himself on the cross. She was the beautiful and amazing wife of Rod, they shared 71 years together. She now enjoys seeing those relatives who preceded her including son, Mark who at age 18 went to be with the Lord in 1974, and granddaughter Kelly Reeves in 2015.

Pat leaves behind her husband, Rod, and their daughter, Karen Reeves and husband Cody Reeves; and grandson Tim Reeves and wife Rusia; and granddaughter Lori Hunn and husband Sam Hunn; and great grandsons Sam and Oliver Burks.

Pat and Rod both graduated from a Baptist seminary in 1964, Rod with a theological degree and Pat with a minister of education degree. They each taught God's word for over 60 years. Upon graduating from seminary in 1964 they started a Baptist church in Bakersfield, California, which last year celebrated its 62d anniversary.

Pat and Rod have been active members of Countryside Bible Church since 2016.
