Patsy was a longtime member of Tate Springs Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas, where she was a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found great joy in attending Gospel music concerts, which were among her favorite things to do.
Patsy graduated from North Texas State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She devoted approximately 30 years to educating children, primarily teaching third grade, before retiring from Arlington ISD. Through her years as an educator, she touched the lives of many students and families.
Outside of her professional life, Patsy enjoyed many things that brought her joy. She loved showing horses with her children, gardening, crafting, and attending craft shows. She and Lee also shared a love of travel and were able to experience different parts of the world together. During their travels, Patsy enjoyed rockhounding—searching for and mining gems and minerals.
Patsy will be remembered for the love she gave her family, her dedication to those she taught, her Christian faith, and the many simple joys she shared with those around her.
Our beloved mother will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
