

Philip H. Pelton passed on to eternal paradise on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Funeral: 1:00pm, Saturday, at North Richland Hills Baptist Church Visitation: 6:00pm-8:00pm Friday at Moore Funeral Home, North Arlington Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Billy Graham Ministries or Scottish Rite Hospital of Dallas.
Philip was born January 24, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio. Upon graduating from high school, Philip enlisted in the U. S. Navy, where he trained and became an Air traffic controller. He had a distinguished career in ATC and was awarded Civil Servant of the Year in 1974. He subsequently retired after 30 years of service. Philip was devoted to his family and a devout Christian. He loved serving the Lord in every aspect of his life. He had a lifelong passion for Hot Rods and was a member of Christian Classic Cruisers. He loved his church family and taught Sunday school there for 14 years. Philip impacted many others with his easy going spirit and will be greatly missed by all. He spent 54 years of marriage to his wife Elizabeth, who preceded him in death in 2010.
Surivivors: Son, Doug Pelton and his wife Linda Cohen; grandchildren, Jessica Pelton Worley and Alex Pelton; Great grandchildren, Kyler and Vance Worley.
