Raymond David Lee Jr, 86, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 19, 1940, to Raymond David Lee and Shirley Maxine Lovinggood. Throughout his life, R.D. was known for kindness, generosity, strength and faith.
R.D. was a devoted father, husband, grandfather and friend. R.D. cherished the time he spent with his family and created countless memories that will remain with us forever. He is survived by his son Douglas Lee, daughter-in-law Laura Montes, granddaughter Kennedy Jane Lee and his loving partner of 27 years, Carolyn Lackland.
He was proceeded in death by his father Raymond David Lee, mother Shirley Maxine Lovinggood, wife Sallie Jane Lee, son James David Lee and brother Jimmy Lee.
Dad, you gave us a lifetime of love, guidance, and memories that we will carry with us forever. Your presence made our lives better, your strength gave us courage, and your love gave us a place to call home.
Although our hearts are broken by your absence, we are grateful for every moment we were blessed to have with you.
You will always be our father, our protecter, and a part of who we are.
Until we meet again dad, rest peacefully.

Viewing service will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Tx 76012 on Sunday October 4, 2026, from 3 PM until 5 PM.
Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church Arlington, 301 S Center St, Arlington, Tx 76010, on Monday October 5, 2026, at 11 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate R.D.’s life.
