Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Moore Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Raymond was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Charles and Rose Chestnut Martin. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran, retiring as a captain after 20 years of service in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Burns Detective Agency and the Dallas Time Herald. Raymond was an ordained deacon of the Korean-American Church. For the past 15 years he attended First United Methodist Church of Arlington and was treasurer of the Aldergate Sunday School Class.
Raymond also was involved with the Masons, Shriners, Scottish Rite, American Rifleman Association, Widowed Persons Organization and various hunting and fishing clubs.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Lorene; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors: Special friend, Jo Shelton; nieces, Dorothy Lewis, Nancy Schaefer (James), Sandra Bentz (Peter), Rose Ellan and Francis McCarty (Larry); and nephews, Bruce Shields (Judy), Terry Slaughter (Anko), Joe Mullins (Mary) and Michael Alexander (Connie).
