

Ann grew up in Amarillo, Texas, where she formed a deep, lifelong bond with her sister, Sue, and cousin, Sally. After graduating from Amarillo High School in 1958, she married Gary Ebensberger in 1960. They had three sons - Steve, David, and Paul. Ann found the years she spent raising her boys to be the most joyful and fulfilling season of her life.
Residing in Arlington, Texas, from 1966 to 1996, Ann worked as a medical transcriptionist and later served for many years as office manager for prominent neurosurgeon Dr. Carlos Acosta.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and faithful friend, she will be remembered as a person full of kindness, patience, and compassion, as well as one who exhibited great perseverance. Her faith in God through Jesus Christ was a source of courage and hope, sustaining her throughout life’s many challenges. She loved music, enjoyed singing in her church choir, and considered it a privilege to lead Bible studies in her adult Sunday school class.
Ann is survived by her sons, Steve and his wife, Debbie; David and his wife, Angie; and Paul and his wife, Karla. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sam, Ryan, Abigail, Emily, Phoebe, Ruby, Elana, and Charlie; her great-grandchildren, Finley, Mary, Teddy, Sullivan, and Ben Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 27, at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr. in Arlington, Texas. Visitation at 9am, Celebration of Life at 10am. Interment will follow in Moore cemetery.
Funeral services are under the care and direction of Moore Funeral Home.
