Richard Thomas Rangel

Visitation with family will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home South Chapel, 1219 North Davis, Arlington, 76012.

Rick was born September 2, 1967 in Belleville, Illinois to Ernest Rangel Jr. and Jacklynn Rangel. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1985. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in July of 1985 and served honorably until October of 1997. He went to work as an Aircraft Technician at TPS/ATS from August of 1998 until October of 2018.

Rick enjoyed music, video games, and NASCAR. He had a big heart and would help anyone in need. His sons and grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He will be greatly missed.

Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Jacklynn Rangel.

Survivors: wife, Connie of Arlington; sons, Nicolis and Nathaniel of Lincoln, Nebraska; granddaughter, Stella and grandson, Kaisen, of Lincoln, Nebraska; father, Ernest Rangel Jr. and wife, Linda, of Fort Worth; brother, Ernest Rangel, III of Bradenton, Florida; sisters, Angela Williams of Denver, Colorado, Melissa Guenter of Lincoln, Nebraska; niece, Camron; nephews, Christopher, Bryan, Jake, and Jeff; other extended family and his coworkers at TPS/ATS, who he considered his close friends.
