Rita Dee Starr Ballew

She was born in Throckmorton, Texas, on July 6, 1937. Rita Dee graduated from Arlington High School and was a life-long resident of Arlington, Texas. Rita worked in office management for Oryx Energy, Texas Steel Culvert Company, and many legal offices. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Starr and past member of the Legal Secretaries Association, as was devoted to her dogs, Sugar and Sweetie.

She was survived by her daughter, Sally Braun and her husband Sean; son, Wade Ballew; fiancee, Carl Pettersson; 3 grandchildren: Matthew Martin, Taylor Martin, and Whitney Martin; 2 brothers: Hugh Starr and Elmer Starr; 14 nieces and nephews: Jim Starr, Charles Starr, Mary Starr, Patricia Starr, Robert

Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00am, June 22, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive in Arlington, Texas.

Visitation will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am, prior to the funeral.

Burial will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens.
