To my husband, 
I love you and will always love you. We were married on December 22,  1984.  You had your way and I had mine and we did not alway agree, but we always came back to each other and said “I love you “. I am bless to have had you in my life for all those years and will never forget you. 
You were always a caring person  and cared about your family and friends. You cared about each and every card you gave me that expressed how much you loved me and cared for me. 
You will forever be in my mind and heart and never forgotten.

Dear Papaw Robert,

It’s hard to find the right words to say goodbye to you, because part of me still can’t believe you’re gone. You were such a big part of my world..my Papaw, my protector, my favorite person to laugh with  and now all I can do is hold on to the memories and love you left behind.
Every time I walked through your door, you’d stop whatever you were doing just to give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I didn’t realize then how much I’d miss those hugs.. how much comfort and warmth they held. If I had known, I would’ve held on just a little longer each time.
You were always honest, never afraid to tell it how it was — but underneath that tough edge was the most loving heart. You loved loud in your own way.. with your smart remarks, your quick wit, your laughter, and the way you showed up for the people you loved, no matter what.
I watched you love my Nanny with all your heart. Sure, you gave her a little hell sometimes — but it was always wrapped in love. And every single holiday, without fail, you brought her red roses. That kind of devotion doesn’t go unnoticed, and I promise you, Papaw, I’ll keep that tradition alive for you.
There’s going to be an empty space without your voice, your humor, and your presence. I’m going to miss the way you made everyone laugh, even when you were being a little ornery. That was you.. making people smile even when they didn’t know they needed it.
Thank you for loving me the way you did. Thank you for every hug, every laugh, every moment we shared. I will carry you in my heart forever.

You were my stepdad for 42 years, for 3/4 years of my life. You are going to be truly missed. I only wish that you had made the decision to take care of yourself long before you did so that we would have had more time with you. I did my best to take care of you until the end especially after your health started failing. I know you are no longer hurting and you are fine now, but it doesn’t take away the pain I felt when I was the chosen one to find you, nor the pain your family felt when you left this earth. I promise to continue taking care of Mother for you. I know you and Daddy have already had conversations and tell him I love him dearly. You are now reunited with all the rest of our family up there and are having a really good time. Until we meet again, I love you and miss you giving me hell.
