Robert "Bob" Lee Carter Jr.

Robert "Bob" Lee Carter, Jr., 91, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away May 24, 2022. He was born in Dallas, Texas on January 12, 1931. Bob Graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from University of Texas.

He was married to Leoma McGeehee on June 12, 1954. Bob had a career in Computer Programming for Vought Aeronautics.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church and had a passion for singing in the church choir, gardening, and traveling the world with his family.

Bob was survived by his children, Joel Carter and Raymond Carter, grandchildren, Rick Carter, Christa Carter, Nick Carter, Kevin Carter, Noah Carter, and Hannah Carter, great grandchildren, Josharia Carter, Angela Carter, Kathryn Carter, and Sophia Carter, and brother in law, Andy Hoelle.

A visitation for Bob will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A graveside service will occur Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
