I will never forget Mr Connor. I had Mrs. Connor for PE at Goodman Elementary and to my surprise had her awesome husband at Sam Houston High School. I really looked forward to his class everyday. He really made his class special. I loved you Mr Connor, rest in peace. God be with your family and know how much he meant to so many students. Graduate of 1978.

My condolences on the loss of Bob after his long and courageous fight with Cancel.  Having only met him a couple times and shared our stories of South East Asia, I felt I knew him.  Lynda never speaks his name without sharing the story about the chocolate candies they competed for.  May our Lord and Saviour have mercy on his soul, and grant peace to his family who will mourn his passing forever.  God Bless

On behalf of the members of the Oklahoma Heartland Chapter of the Air Force Security Forces Association (AFSFA), our deepest condolences go out to the Connor's family on the passing away of Bob.  We know that he is now standing guardmount in Heaven with all the other Sky Cops that have proceeded him there.

Its so sad to hear about Mr. Connor. He was such an influence on myself and family. Always kind and polite and all around great. My prayers go out to Lynda and their daughter and grandson. Rest in peace.

I was very sad to hear of Mr. Connor's passing! He was, by far, one of my favorite teachers I have ever had! My thoughts are with the family during this time! Mr. Connor will never be forgotten!

Although I never spent much time with Bob, I taught with him for many years and knew from students and others teachers that he was a very special teacher and person.  My thought and prayers are with his family and  friends.

In everyone's life, there's always a handful of teachers that break through and make a difference in our lives. You know, the one's you'll never forget. I'm proud to say that Mr.C was one of those teachers for me. I mean no disrespect by calling him Mr.C. That's what I called him and will forever remember him that way. I'll never forget that big smile and that wonderful curly hair on his head. He had a soft voice that would always make you stop what you were doing just to listen to what he had to say. I'll never forget about his dream he used to talk about. That dream was to move to Hawaii and retire there as a teacher. Not sure if he ever got to live that dream but I'm sure he's out on that beach, smiling and reading a history book. Gob bless you and your family Mr.C, you will always have a special place in my heart.

Mr. Connor was a great teacher and will be missed by many. You touched many lives and will not be forgotten.

I am very sad to hear of Mr. Conner's passing.  He was one of my favorite teachers at Sam.  I always looked forward to going to his history class because he made it interesting. RIP.

Linda and Susan,  Bob was a good friend during the years that we taught together at Sam.  I haven't seen him since he retired.  Please accept by sympathy on his passing.

I will miss Bob as a neighbor and a great friend.  My prayers go out to you lynda and your daughter at a time like this.  Seems only yesterday that I visited with Bob.  Speaking on behalf of Knottingham Estates Crime Watch we have lost a valuable member.  May his sole rest in piece.

I always enjoyed Mr. Connor's class.  He was a good teacher who made History lots of fun.  Rest in Peace.
