Robert "Cordell" Alcorn

Following High School, Cordell enlisted in the US Army, serving proudly in the Vietnam War. He then went on to have a career as a Cost Control Consultant, working with Dallas Area Rapid Transit. He married Sandy Bradbury Alcorn and they raised two sons together.

He is remembered as a kind man who loved BBQ, Classic Rock, the Dallas Cowboys, and above all else his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cordell Alcorn and Mamie Alcorn-Cropp and sisters Lorna Stanton and Catharine “Butch” Stanton. He is survived by his wife Sandy Alcorn; sons Jason Bradbury and his wife Elaine and CJ Alcorn and his wife Amanda; grandchildren Michael Bradbury, Sarah Bradbury, Alicia Alcorn and Kayleigh Alcorn; brother-in-law Jim Stanton; and his devoted dog, Pete. With many more nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday May 6, at 6:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home.
