Oh my god. I am so sorry for your loss. If you only knew what Robert did for my life. The changes he helped me to make and the truths he helped me to see. I am so honored with the opportunity to have been apart of what he did. I can't thank you or him enough for my life today.

My husband, Terry, and I were so sorry to hear of Robert's passing and send our love and sympathy to the entire family. Robert's parents and mine attended church together and also played 84 for years. Our mothers were dearest of friends and I grew up with Randy, Robert's brother. Much later when Terry and I moved to California, Robert came to visit us and he really enjoyed the Monterey Bay area.
We remember Robert as incredibly quick-witted and humorous and also positive, in spite of life's tragedies. He was a blessing to many at church and in the community. May all of his friends and family rejoice in having known such a good Christian man.

Dear Family of Robert S. Miles So sorry for the death of Robert. He was a fine man. One day I brought him home from a Meeting and he asked if he could say a prayer for us. It so touched my heart. I met Robert at Oakbend an alcohol and drug treatment facility. He did some contract work there. He was warm and funny. His car was his office complete with boxes of handouts for group. He was there for me during a family crisis. The world is missing an angel but his spirit will always be with us.

Robert was a major contributor to treatment and recovery in the Fort Worth/Dallas area. He championed the cause in Austin and Washington D.C. Robert mentored and supported many in the addiction and mental health field. I was proud to call him my friend.

Robert Miles was one sweet man. I was lucky enough to get to really know him as the organizing committee formed to establish the Arlington High School Alumni Association. He loved Arlington High. He loved his Class of 1957. He loved Arlington's Fourth of July Parade. In fact, the Alumni Association enters it every year because of Robert's involvement in the spectacle. He loved people and treated them with respect. He always greeted folks with a smile. In honor of his support for the Association, as well as the service to his clients and the greater community, Robert was named a Distinguished Colt Alumnusan honor which he richly deserved.
This is a hard loss. I offer my deepest condolences to Robert's family and his legion of friends. He has been a blessing to all of us.
