Robert D. Myers served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He was with the Dallas office of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. from 1961 to 1965. He retired from Tandy Corporation in 1989 after 19 years and attaining the position of Executive Vice President of Business Products. Bob's grandchildren were the joy of his life. They called him Bob-Bob
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn “Susie”; two sons Steven and Michael and his wife Holly; two grandchildren Brandon and Ryleigh; sister Novella Faulkner and her husband Neil and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, TX Monday Dec. 7 from 6 – 8 pm. Graveside service will be at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, TX Tuesday Dec. 8 at 2 pm.
