

Robert Sullins was born on November 30, 1954, in College Station, Texas.
He attended St. Maria Goretti Catholic School in Arlington and Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth. He graduated from Arlington Lamar High School in 1973, as part of the first three-year graduating class. While a student at Lamar, he designed the school’s Viking head logo that is still in use today. Robert graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1981, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture.
Robert worked for many years as a construction manager and designer for Sullins Construction Company and was a home builder in partnership with his brother, Patrick Sullins. Later he was part owner and vice-president of Creative Manufacturing, Inc. After retirement, he developed an interest in cooking and baking. He was a lifelong student of history, an avid reader, and proud Akita owner.
He married Susan Patrice McFadin Sullins on November 21, 1996, in San Antonio, Texas, after a long courtship that began shortly after high school.
Robert is survived by his wife, Susan Patrice McFadin Sullins of Arlington; his parents, Sue Parnell Sullins Courts of Brighton, England, and Bob Sullins of Arlington; his siblings, Dan Crawford Sullins (Lea) of Arlington, Michael Ross Sullins of Roswell, New Mexico, Patrick Hogan Sullins (Stacy) of Arlington, Susan Sullins Hail of Arlington; brother-in-law, Michael Ray McFadin (Kathy) of Columbus, Ohio; and his nieces, nephews, friends and family.
