Rogers Faith was tested with his first bought with death with heart disease sometime in 2011. During this time, he had given up the B&R Contracting to a good friend Eddie Frisby, due to his difficulties working. Doctors were telling Roger they were not sure he would make it, due to the severity of the disease. Upon testing they were planning on open heart surgery, during this time Roger was praying like he never prayed before. Roger never once blamed God but gave thanks to Him. There was no doubt in his Mind that a Healing was on the way.
A few days before the planned surgery the doctors were running tests and noticed the heart was back to normal. They were confused and performed extra tests where they could not find anything. They cancelled the surgery and Roger received his healing.
Roger would call the years after Gods Healing, his bonus years. During this time, he would continue to show the love of God by helping those around him. During the years following Covid, Roger would explore life the best way he could. Going on cruises with his sister Bonnie, taking his granddaughter Hillary to Saint Martin, and going on camping trips with his grandkids and great grandkids. Roger spent the last few years exploring the world anyway he could.
Sadly, as Roger began to work on Rocking The Neighborhood, his heart began acting up again. It was determined he would need major heart surgery. July 2023 he underwent the procedure, where initially it was looking good. However, his health began to deteriorate quickly until his untimely passing on the Evening of September 4, 2023.
