Our community sadly lost a pillar on Monday, September 6, 2021 when Ronald William Crego, a life-long resident of Arlington, TX, passed over to his heavenly home. He was a loving and devoted husband to Marie Crego.
Ron, as he was known to all, was born on February 8, 1962. He was a Godly man who loved his Lord and was servant at heart. Ron always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how small. He served as a deacon at New Life Deaf Fellowship and his love for God and the church was evident by his leadership and service to his church family and deaf community.
In addition to his loving wife, Marie, Ron is survived by three siblings, Linda Crego of Arlington, TX; Debbie Goad (Nigel) of South Lake, TX; and Randall Crego (Rose) of Dover, Delware, as well as numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory. Ron was predeceased by his mother, Gloria D. Crego; father Roger A. Crego and stepmother, Neoma.
After graduating from Texas School for the Deaf, Ron worked for the family business alongside his father Roger. After closing the family business, Ron served the deaf students of Jean Massieu Academy as a bus driver for 9 years in Arlington. In his free time Ron enjoyed playing cards with friends, playing disc golf, and fishing.
