Ronald Dean Westphal passed on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 97. He was born on Thursday, May 24, 1928, in Freemont, Nebraska. He was raised in Freemont and Graduated from Freemont High school in 1944. Arlington.
After serving in the army in his earlier years, Ronald married Juliette Westphal in 1962, and the couple had two children. He then went on to serve as a U.S. postal inspector in Fort Worth, Texas for more than 25 years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, smoking cigars, woodworking, and working in his garden. His friends and family will remember him fondly as a person who was always willing to help.
Ronald is preceded in death by his Wife Juliette Westphal.
He is survived by his two sons Paul and Jeff Westphal and Daughter-in-law Mary Westphal; two sisters Vicky Welstead and Bev Rice; Grandsons Chris and Wife Veronica, Matt and Wife Heather and One great grandchild Reagan.
