She was united in marriage to Alexander Gomez, Sr, with whom she built a life centered on family, love, and devotion. As a homemaker, she cared deeply for her household and served her family with quiet strength and unwavering commitment.
She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by the people she loved. She faithfully showed up for recitals, games, performances, award ceremonies, and countless graduations. She cherished family dinners, family vacations, time spent together, and creating a legacy of togetherness that will continue for generations.
She will be remembered as a woman who persevered through life’s challenges with resilience and grace, one who endured, overcame, and remained steadfast in her love for those around her. On October 31, 2010, she was baptized and dedicated her life to the Lord. From that day forward, she walked in faith, serving Jesus faithfully and holding firmly to her beliefs until her final days.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alexander Gomez; and her sons, Christopher Gomez and Andrew Gomez.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Armando Gomez, with children Mondie, Joseph, and Jake; Mary Risley (Michael), with son Roland and great-grandson Jude; Alexander Gomez Jr. (Dawn), with children Kelsey and Stephanie; Deborah Gomez, with children Theresa, Ruben, and Danielle, and great-grandchildren Natalie, Alyssa, Nate, and Kamila; Ambrosio Gomez, with children Frank, Manuel, and Nicole; Jorge Gomez (Raychal), with children Priscilla, Joshua, and Jordan; Cynthia Gonzales (Martin), with children Vanessa, Joey, Nicolas, and Rose; and Norma Vasquez (Raymond), with children Jacob and Alexa
She also leaves behind the children of her late sons: Andrew’s children, Keoni, Sierra, and Rose Anahi; and Christopher’s children, Michael, Gabriel, Sarah, and Christopher, along with his grandson, Michael. She also leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were a constant source of joy and pride. Her life was a testimony of love, sacrifice, and unwavering care for those around her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy and memory will live on in the lives she touched and the family she so beautifully built.
Her favorite Scripture was Psalm 23:
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever
