He married Margaret Tremaine on May 13th, 2023, and in doing so, gained two daughters, a son, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Roy was truly a one-of-a-kind person who, even with his gruff exterior, always knew how to bring a smile to anyone’s face. He spent years operating multiple businesses; a tractor supply company, his convenience store and tending to his tenants’ needs as a fulltime landlord. When he wasn’t working on one of his rental properties, you could find Roy tinkering around on his many side projects, including his collection of small engines, cars, and lawn equipment. He took considerable pride in everything he did and was never in short supply regarding advice on faster, more cost-effective ways of doing things. Roy could always be found sitting at his kitchen table during his downtime, relaxing, watching football and discussing the current news or hanging out with friends and family around the grill. Roy was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
