Ruben S. Garza Sr.

Mr. Garza was born February 1, 1930 in Del Rio, Texas to Daniel Garza and Guadalupe Sanchez.

He was the youngest of seven brothers.

Mr. Garza served in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War.

He married his wife Carolina Esqueda January 5, 1951. They had four children together Ruben, Darlene, Joey and Sassie. Mr. Garza devoted his life to his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife Carol Garza and daughters Darlene Williams and Cecelia Minyard.

He is survived by his sons Ruben Garza, Jr. and Joey Garza, 10 Grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, He will be dearly missed.

A visitation for Ruben will be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.

A funeral service will occur Monday, November 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Maria Goretti, 1200 South Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76013.

A committal service will occur Monday, November 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
