So sad to hear of Sally's death. I became friends with Sally in nursing school and once a friend, always a friend with her.  Such wonderful, fun and crazy times.  I am glad we reconnected in person for a reunion about ten years ago after almost 40 years of keeping up through the annual Christmas letter!    She was a wonderful person and a caring nurse.  She was so proud of her ever expanding family.  My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

I have fun memories of Sally and good stories, too, especially during our times at AORN Congress.  She loved to talk, but she loved nursing even more and was determined to continue in her profession even while dealing with ill health. How do you say goodbye to such a special person? Sally was the glue to our family and my brother's best friend. Sally had a special way about her, within 10 minutes she would know everything thing about you and make you feel so special. She was very social and loved being with people. Not to mention she was a nurse for 44 years. Goodbye dear Sally, we are going to miss you so much. RIP Sally we love you very much.
