Sally Mary Wimberly

Sally Wimberly, a beloved, gentle, loyal, and kind-hearted soul, passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on May 4, 1931, in Pennsylvania, Sally's journey through life was marked by her dedication to service and her unwavering love for her family.

Raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Sally pursued her education at Columbia University in New York, graduating in 1959 as a Registered Nurse. Her career was distinguished by her service as a nurse in Saudi Arabia for more than 17 years, where she made a significant impact. Additionally, she devoted over a decade of her life working as an Ombudeson, for several nursing homes in Texas, providing care and comfort to those in need; patient care was very important to her.

Sally married the love of her life, Lloyd M. Wimberly, in New York City. Their enduring partnership was a testament to her loving and charitable nature. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as classical music and playing slot machines at the Oklahoma casinos.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and three brothers. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved Lloyd, sister, Roseann; five nieces and nephews and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Funeral services will be held at Moore Funeral Home, located at 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012, on December 15, 2025, at 1:00 pm. A committal service will follow at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012, at 2:00 pm. Sally's legacy of love and compassion will be remembered by all who knew her.
