Sandra Lynn Levy

She was born in Sealy, Texas and graduated from Katy High School. She went to North Texas State University where she met her husband, Bill Levy. They were married in 1967.

Sandy worked for the Arlington Independent School District as an elementary school secretary. She retired in 2003 after 32 years of service. Sandy's interests centered around her family, her many friends, and her sweet dog, Bella. She put her family first, and Christmas was her favorite time of the year to express her love for them. She enjoyed her time with her Poker Pals and D-Q Dollies. She loved taking cruises, but her favorite pastime was going to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Volan and Lorene Youngblood, her brother, Volan Dean Youngblood, and her sister, Sharon K. Maier.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; her daughter, Denise, and son-in-law, Rocco; and her granddaughter, Taylor. She is also survived by her brothers, Obby and John Youngblood, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, TX 1219 N. Davis Drive at 2pm on Friday, November 26th.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses at Mansfield Methodist Hospital for their dedication and professionalism in caring for Sandy. The family also wishes to give a special thanks to Chaplain Lamont for all the help in our time of need.
