Sandra was an only child growing up in Dallas. She graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1960. She worked in Downtown Dallas at Southwestern Life Insurance Company in the Bank Service Department. Her roommate introduced her to Herbert Naumann and they were married in 1962 and lived in Arlington. They had two children, Dan and Susie. Sandra continued to work as a re-buyer for Stationers Distributing, which was bought out by United Stationers. She was a wholesaler buying supplies for all the office suppliers in Cincinnati, Los Angeles, and Tempe, Arizona.
Sandra’s greatest joy was being a wife for 44 years, mother to her 2 children and grandma to 4 boys. She was known for taking care of everyone and her eyes lit up anytime a grandkid was around. She loved crossword puzzles, Sudoku and reading. Sandra attended Lamar Baptist Church. She volunteered for a few years with the Widowed Persons Service of Tarrant County.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Ophelia Pope, her husband, Herbert Naumann, and her daughter Susan Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Dan Naumann and wife, Abbie; grandchildren, Ben and Matt Naumann and Dean and Cole Johnson.
