With great sadness, we announce the death of an amazing mother, sister, and friend, Sharon Sue El-Jilani, born September 15, 1963 in Erick, Oklahoma. She passed peacefully on the morning of July 2, 2026, in Grand Prairie, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Shirley Gibson, and her brothers, Mark and Richard Gibson. She is survived by her children, Sarah, Saif, Adam, and Abraham; her brother, Kevin; many grandchildren; and her first great-grandbaby.
Sharon loved her family and cherished spending time and playing with her grandchildren. Some of the things she enjoyed doing were knitting and painting in her spare time. She loved life and embraced the wonderful things that made her and those she loved happy.
We will be celebrating her life with a memorial service on Friday, July 17, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the committal service at 11:00 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas.
Sharon requested that, in celebration of her life, all who attend her service wear bright colors.
