

Sharon Michele Ellis, 82, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, in Mansfield, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on December 8, 1942, in Dallas, Texas to Jewelle and Lloyd Fowler.
Sharon graduated from Grand Prairie High School, in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she formed lifelong friendships that she cherished dearly.
Sharon lived a life devoted to learning, service, and compassion. A proud member of Delta Gamma sorority at the University of North Texas, she later earned her master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. She dedicated her professional life to helping children find their voices as a Speech and Language Pathologist for Duncanville ISD, where she retired after a meaningful and impactful career.
She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and carried her faith with her in the way she cared for others. Sharon was witty, spirited, independent, and endlessly empathetic. Even in her final days, her sharp humor and loving presence remained a source of strength for those around her.
Sharon was happiest when surrounded by her family. Known lovingly as “Mimi,” she treasured time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved gardening and crocheting blankets for her loved ones, creating gifts that will continue to warm hearts for years to come.
Sharon is survived by her devoted daughters, Melissa Harrison (Bill), Michele Hamilton (Russell), Monica O’Donnell (Brion), her beloved grandchildren, Brandtley Hopkins (Amber), Caitlyn Cozart, Carlee Calhoun, Cooper Cozart, Ella O'Donnell, Nathan Harrison, Ava Lea O'Donnell and great-grandchildren, Forrest Finlay, Brody Hopkins, and Rosemary Calhoun.
She is also survived by her brother, George Fowler (Victoria), nephew, Jason Fowler, and niece, Amy Kyles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewelle and Lloyd Fowler, sister, Judy Fowler, and grandson, Colby Cozart.
Sharon leaves behind a legacy of grace, strength, intelligence, and unconditional love. Her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those blessed to know her.
