After a long career in public education, she retired as Director of Transportation for the Fort Worth School District. Throughout her career she made a lasting impact on those around her.
Sharon was a caring and loving mother, sister, colleague, mentor, volunteer and friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a kind heart and a fierce love for her family and friends. She loved new experiences, especially, traveling and meeting people. Sharon believed in giving back to others through mentoring younger people in the community and volunteering with the children at her church.
Sharon is survived by her son Ryan Spears, her siblings Gail Gray and Vernon King, and a host of relatives and friends. She will be dearly missed!
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018, 10:30 a.m., at Pantego Bible Church, 8001 Anderson Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76012.
