She was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on April 13, 1939. Sherry graduated from Shawnee High School. She worked as a mortgage clerk more recently at First Horizon before retiring.
She had a passion for reading, sewing, and cooking. She loved making floral arrangements and selling them at Wishes & Dreams and other craft shows. She also had quite the collection of anything to do with elephants. She could never spend enough time with her family. They were the love of her life. She’ll be remembered by her family for her artistic talents, sense of humor, and love for the Word of God and so much more.
She was survived by her daughters Audry Stewart, Ronda Welch and her husband, Doug Welch, grandchildren, Jason Scott and wife, Misty Scott, Jamie Robinette and husband, Tim Robinette, and Shelby Welch and great grandchildren, Haley Scott, Gracie Scott and Axton Scott.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00 p.m., October 29, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012.
