

Shirley was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, ballroom dancer and musician. Her joy in life came from her family, ballroom dancing and playing the clarinet. She earned a Bachelor of Education in Special Education at the Texas Women’s University in Denton. Her teaching career was over 40 years and when she retired, she tutored elementary students in her home.
Her hobbies included going dancing every week; playing the clarinet at local and international events; collecting Madame Alexander dolls, and working to find homes for rescue animals.
She is survived by her four children, Mark Bianchi, Robin White, Dean Bianchi and Wendell Howell along with four grandchildren, Jennifer Bianchi, Tiffany Howell, Marshall White and Kimberlee Peterson
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Beulah Daugherty: sister, Karan Kelly and her husband Thomas Ballard.
A visitation for Shirley will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A committal service will occur Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
