Shirley Marie Braham entered earth on December 23, 1935 and entered heaven into her husband's open arms September 12, 2020. She was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all. She was born and raised in Waco, Texas where she graduated Waco High School class of 1954. Shortly after, she married her lifelong soulmate Christmas Day 1954. She was a military wife who traveled around the world until his retirement from thr United States Air Force in 1971. She was known for making the impossible happen and always being a caretaker. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Arlington for 45 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband USAF TSgt and Vietnam Veteran Douglas Earl Braham, Sr., parents Claude Crues "Bill" Butler and Hazel Orlena Cunningham, brothers C.K. "Ted" Butler and R.K. "Bob" Butler.

She leaves behind her four children Debra "Debbie" Marie, Steven "Steve" Wayne, William "Bill" Edward, and Douglas Earl Jr. and wife LaDonna, daughter-in-law Jan, grandchildren Steven Wayne, Ashley Marie, Douglas Matthew, Dawson Earl, Austin Lee and Lauren Elizabeth, as well as her great grandchildren Kyli Marie and Karsin Hurley.

They say "A lady always knows when it's her time to leave."

I never knew Mrs. Braham personally, but I knew her through my sister Jan Braham, from the stories she would tell me of Mrs. Braham, She seemed though she was a giving and loving person.
