Sue Deweese

Sue DeWeese, 85, a well-known local commercial and fine artist, passed away on October 15, 2026. She was preceded into the great beyond by her beloved husband, John, and her great-grandsons Biggins and Lucas.

Mrs.DeWeese, a one-time president of The Advertising Artists of Fort Worth, continued with her creativity, painting, sculpting and making Steampunk art right up until the end. She was a force of creativity to be reckoned with.

She is survived by her children, Deborah Comer, of Fort Worth and her son, Cris Holton of Carson City, Nevada. Grandchildren are Shawn Bullard of Mansfield, TX and Jessica, Clayton and John Holton of Carson City, NV. And her most beloved great-grandchildren: Courtney, David, Mackinzee, Brooklynn, Matthew and Pacy.
