Susan Rose Crawford

Susan was born November 19, 1943 in Wooster, Ohio. She was raised by Richard and Rose Price. She worked for Southwestern Bell and retired after 35 years of dedicated service. After she retired from Southwestern Bell, Susan began a second career with Foliage Design and was known as the "Plant Lady." She would travel all over the metroplex to take care of plants for businesses and homes and established many relationships with those she served. During that time, she worked with and formed a special friendship with Joyce, who became her caregiver through the past several years.

In her spare time, Susan enjoyed reading, putting puzzles together, and working with her plants. She also loved rock and roll music and was known to attend many concerts and events. She instilled her love of rock and roll into her children and grandchildren. But her main passion in life was her family. She was known as Mom #2 and Granny to many people that loved her dearly.

Susan has touched many lives during her lifetime. To know Susan was to love her. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Friend, and Follower of Jesus Christ. She was an inspiration to so many and will be greatly missed.

Susan was preceded in death by her Parents, Richard and Rose Price; Sister, Becky Pace; Niece, Lisa Thomas; and Son-in-law, Geoff Brady.

Survivors: Daughters, Shelly Crawford and Gidget Crawford; Son, Sammy Crawford; Grandchildren, Danielle Pierce, Whitney Crawford, and Sammy Crawford, III; Great-Grandchildren, Aaliyah, Elijah, Christopher, Kash, and Ryleigh; Sisters, Patty and Bonnie; Brothers, Rick, Chris, and Pete; and her beloved dog, Cowboy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012.
