Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas. Interment: 9 a.m. Saturday in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jay Van Houten. Susie met Jay while he was in the Navy during World War II; they were married in 1947 and moved to Arlington in 1959.
Survivors: Children, Phala McGee, Kent Van Houten and Debbie Harris, their spouses and seven grandchildren.
