Suzanne Frederick Alcala was born September 26, 1939 in Dallas,TX. She passed away on December 19, 2014. Suzanne received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She worked for the U.S. Courts and for the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole for many years. She is survived by her son Bryce Alan Reed and wife Dora Reed; her daughter Elizabeth Reed Scheppler, and husband David Scheppler; Her Grandchildren Jacob Luther Reed Scheppler and Brianna Nicole Reed; And happily acquired grandchildren Alvaro Grisales and Diana Grisales. Suzanne enjoyed life. She wrote and performed murder mystery parties for those celebrating special occasions or those who just wanted to have fun. She had a very special childhood which guided her throughout her life. Suzanne knew how to have a good time. She loved her family dearly. She said motherhood was the most important goal in her life, and she felt happy and pleased with her children and grandchildren. She thanked God for her very special life. Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Saturday December 27, 2014 at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church.
