Teresa Kaye Corey was born on December 31, 1958, to Wayne and Dollie Brown in Tyler, Texas, and went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2026. She lived a life marked by love, devotion to her family, and a deep and steady faith in God.
She was the beloved wife of Douglas Corey and a cherished mother to Jarod Corey and his wife Leticia, Janelle Walton and her husband Erick, Laurie Cook, and Rachel Bowen.
She was known by many beautiful names throughout her life. To some she was Mom. To others she was TK. To her grandchildren- Janessa, Jayden, Evan, Eva, Elijah, and Ella - she was Grammie. And to her husband, she was Babe.
Her favorite scripture was Jeremiah 29:13: "You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." She lived a life of faith, love, and devotion. To know her was to love her, and to be loved by her was a gift.
