Thelma Louise Maeger

March 3, 2022 in Beaumont, Tx. Louise was born in Walters, Ok on July 6, 1930. She later moved to Duncan, OK where she met the love of her life Billy Dwain Maeger. They attended the University of Oklahoma together and married in 1950. Children Phil and Melinda arrived in Oklahoma City within a year of each other. The family moved to Arlington, Tx where they made their family home. Eventually empty nesters Bill and Louise built their dream home in Fort Worth. After Bill’s death Louise moved to Dallas and later Beaumont where she lived with her daughter Melinda.

Louise was a homemaker most of her life. She devoted herself to the care and well-being of her husband and children. She immensely enjoyed her grandchildren Traci and Mark and great grandchildren Billy, Brooke, and Jack. She was a hands-on grandmother and spoiled them shamelessly.

She is survived by her children Phil Maeger and partner George Garcia, daughter Melinda Bond, grandchildren Traci McCullough and husband Joseph and Mark Bond and wife Carol and great grandchildren Billy, Brooke, and Jack.

The graveside service will be held at Moore Memorial Gardens at 2pm in Arlington, Tx with visitation at 1pm. All are welcome to celebrate Louise’s life.
