In working on plans for the 75th anniversary for the City of College Station this fall, I was looking for significant quotes from Aggies in WW II. Found reference in the opening of the 1942 movie "We've Never Been Licked" about Texas A&M where the narrator, Bill Stern, recalls Lt. Thomas C. Day's radio messaged in the South Pacific, "Sighted sub, sank same." He'll be remembered as long as the video of the movie is watched.

Carolyn, I'm sorry for your loss. Both your mom and dad were wonderful people and I know that you'll miss them but rejoice that they are with the Lord and that we will all rejoice together in His Glorious Coming. Love and thoughts and prayers to your family. cathy

You cannot walk in the doors of River Oaks Baptist Church without seeing something that Tom and Lorena had a hand in. How sweet to know they are together again.
