Born on October 9, 1968, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Tim moved to Arlington, Texas, at a young age and proudly called it home for most of his life. He graduated from Lamar High School in 1987 and later earned a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Texas at
Arlington.
Tim built a successful career in the pool and pool chemical industry, beginning in retail and eventually advancing to the position of Regional Sales Manager. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Jack's Magic, where he was respected for his knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to his customers and colleagues.
While Tim was proud of his professional accomplishments, he will be remembered most for the joy he brought to others. He had a remarkable memory and an unmatched ability to quote movies, recall song lyrics, and imitate favorite characters with uncanny accuracy. Family gatherings, conversations with friends, and everyday moments were often made better by Tim's quick wit, perfect timing, and endless supply of memorable quotes and impressions.
Tim had a deep appreciation for movies, music, and sports. His knowledge of film and popular culture was extraordinary, and he enjoyed sharing that passion with family and friends. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and could always be counted on for a spirited conversation, a great story, or the perfect quote for the occasion.
Those who knew Tim describe him as larger than life, kind, genuine, and always a joy to be around. He possessed a sharp sense of humor, often delivered with sarcasm and wit, but always with the goal of making people laugh. Bringing laughter to others was one of his greatest gifts, and he shared that gift generously throughout his life.
Faith remained an important part of Tim's life. Though rooted in his Catholic upbringing, his belief in God continued throughout adulthood and provided him comfort, guidance, and strength.
Above all, Tim loved his family. His loyalty, compassion, humor, and faith defined who he was and how he lived. He leaves behind countless memories, stories, and laughter that will continue to be shared by those who knew and loved him.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved nephew, John Ross Jr. ("Little John").
He is survived by his brother, Steve Berry; his sister, Debbie Berry; his nieces, Meghan Herren and Chantel Bradshaw; his great-niece, Hallie Herren; and many extended family members, friends, classmates, coworkers, and neighbors whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Tim's legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the friendships he cherished, the faith he carried, and the love he shared with family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created will remain with those who knew him for years to come.
