

Born September 22, 1928, he was the son of Floyd and Estelle Harrison.
He attended East Texas Baptist College in Marshall. In his second year, he was called to be the Latch Baptist Church pastor in his childhood community of Latch.
He graduated from Southwest Baptist Seminary with a B.D. in 1953
He pastored at Cottage Grove and Grace Memorial Baptist Churches in Houston, Texas.
Career highlight were working for A.H. Robbins pharmaceuticals in Houston, Texas and as a traveling shoe sales man with Autry Industries.
Mr. Harrison enjoyed the fellowship of his church, Lamar Baptist, and teaching his Sunday School class each week. Being involved with the church brought him tremendous happiness and satisfaction. He also enjoyed playing guitar and singing.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene and his sisters, Yvonne and Vaudeen and his parents, Floyd and Estelle, his daughter Suzanne, and a son Tony.
He is survived by his son, Craig Harrison, and his daughter-in-law, Kim Harrison and another son, Scott and step children, Russell and Annette as well as nieces and nephews.
