Venita Sue Vaughn Wolf

Venita Sue Wolf, 71, loving wife, mother and grandmother, was received into the loving care of God our Father on Monday, July 5, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Her memory will always fill our hearts with love and joy. Sue was born Dec. 23, 1938, in Commerce and was wed to her devoted husband, James C. Wolf, for 54 years. She attended Gober Schools and graduated Gober High School in 1957. James and Sue lived in Arlington for 44 years and have lived in Mansfield for 7 1/2 years. Venita Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Carpenter; father, James E. Carpenter; and son, David Mark Wolf. Survivors: Husband, James C. Wolf; son, James "Bubba" Wolf; daughters, Laurie Foreman and Sherri Sutherland; grandchildren, Ashley Bosworth, Jamie Wolf, Justin Wolf, Megan Sue Foreman, Austin Sutherland, Bailey Sutherland, Ashlyn Julieth Wolf, Elysa Wolf, Camden James Wolf and Keston Wolf; brother, Jerry Carpenter; and several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Arrangements under the direction of Moore Funeral Home, Arlington, TX.
