Louise was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Jay Payne and her parents William and Gladys Dossey. Louise was a dedicated mother first and foremost. As a young person, her dream was to attend fashion college. Those dreams were fulfilled as she designed and sewed many clothes for herself and her daughters. She treasured her daughters and embraced every moment with them. She learned to somewhat master the cell phone in order to keep up with her daughters and their families. She especially loved her role as Nana loving on her grandkids and making special memories. Louise was a Christian and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Arlington, Texas.
Louise was imaginative and artistic throughout her life. Some of her hobbies included drawing, cake decorating, singing and growing roses. In recent years, she was a resident at Midlothian Healthcare where she served on the board to advocate for her fellow residents. Louise enjoyed a good game of Bingo and always looked for the best prize. She also enjoyed watching Hallmark movies.
Louise’s graveside service will be held at Moore Memorial Garden in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, December 5th at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mission Arlington at missionarlington.org
