She was raised in Greenville, Texas and graduated high school in 1950. She married and had a son, She divorced and moved to Beeville, Texas where she worked in a bank and at an oil company. She met and married her second husband, Delmar Dibbern before moving to Arlington, Texas. Shortly afterward, she retired from working to become a fulltime wife and mother.
Being a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, Wanda always had an open heart and an open home to those in need. She truly loved everyone and had a vast circle of family and friends. She was also active in the animal community, performing trap, neuter and release on feral cats in her neighborhood. She always had one or two stray cats that she would take in to provide a loving forever home.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents and brother Olan McReynolds. She is survived by her son Jimmy Tevis.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas, at 11:00 AM. With the service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be at 1:00 PM - Moore Memorial Gardens 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012
She will be laid to rest next to her husband of 59 years, Del, on the Moore Funeral Home grounds.
