Following high school graduation, Wanda married the late Wayne S. Black and was his devoted wife for 27 years, until his passing. She later found love again and married the late Wayne Lehman and shared 29 wonderful years together until his passing.
Wanda will be remembered for her love of the LORD Jesus. She enjoyed teaching children about his love in all of the churches where she had been a member. She will always be remembered for her reading, gardening, and liberal use of fresh aloe vera. She enjoyed weekend motorcycle rides with Wayne throughout the Texas and Arkansas hill country.
Wanda is survived by her sons Clinton Black (Pam), Lamar Black (Carol), Sheldon Black (Cassandra) and Marshall Black (Luly); grandchildren Jennifer Mashburn (Chris), Amanda Black, Zach Black (fiancée Marissa), Elizabeth Black, Michael Black (Kayleigh), Lisa O’Keefe (Jonathan), Lehman Black and Justin Black; great-grandchildren Aiden Mashburn, Logan Black, Colton Black, Luke Black, Daniel O’Keefe, Matthew O’Keefe and Hannah O’Keefe; sister-in-law Vera Atkinson; and brother-in-law Wally Lehman.
Wanda also had many nieces, nephews, and other family that loved her dearly. She was blessed with many loving friends during her life time that helped her when she had needs.
Visitation will be Friday from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the North Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Aaron Ashlock officiating.
