Wendy Renee Hicks

Wendy Renee Hicks, 45, passed away on to the next plain, Friday, December 13, 2013. Wendy was a very loving woman who touched many hearts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved her family very much, most especially her grandchildren. Though Wendy lived through many years of excruciating pain, she was always there for family and friends. Wendy believed that love and family were the most important things in life. Wendy will always remain a constant beacon in her husband's life. She was an angel on earth. She now has her wings!

Wendy is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Kevin Hicks; her mother, Mary Birkes; sons, Richard Daugherty, Cash Bellew and wife Suzin, Sean Hicks and wife Shelley; daughter, Tiffany Hicks and husband Blake; grandchildren, Kali, Ryder, Brooke, Reagan, Jax, and Landyn; brother, Greg Schreiner; sisters, Michelle Ricks and husband Clyde and Jan Harrington and husband Kelly; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family, Betty and Behzad, Kassie Arn and family, Samantha Pernyak, Dawn Potter, and Bruce and Jamie Stone.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 1219 N. Davis Drive, in Arlington. Interment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home.
