William was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Cambridge Springs, Pa., to John and Vera Dolinsky. After graduating from high school in 1946, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps. His military career was highlighted by being assigned as a staff member of the United Nations Military Armistice Commission in Panmunjom, 38th Parallel, Korea. Later he served at different commands as senior enlisted adviser. He was a lifelong devoted baseball fan.
He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Arlington and was a member of VFW Post 1475 of Amarillo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Crystial; a son, James; and a daughter, Joan.
Survivors: Daughters, Jean Barth and husband James of McKinney, Mary Evanson of Dallas, Joann Rodriguez and husband, Manny, of Alpharetta, Ga., and Janice Moody and husband, Mark, of Simpsonville, S.C.; sons, John Dolinsky and wife, Cheryl, of Arlington and Jerry Dolinsky and wife, Carol, of Cypress; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Dolinsky of Newhall, Calif.; sister, Helen Gebhardt of Erie, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
